CKay – BANGER BOY (Album)

CKay keeps most of the album to himself, with Mavo, Kidd Carder, Phyno, Maleek Berry and King Promise making the only guest appearances. The collaborations connect him with artists from different corners of contemporary Nigerian and Ghanaian music while leaving much of the record in his hands.

CKay also takes an active role behind the boards, sharing production duties across the album with collaborators including BMH, Fez, Reward Beatz and other producers involved in shaping the project. That involvement continues a part of his artistry that predates his international breakthrough, with production remaining closely tied to his songwriting and recording process.

BANGER BOY arrives during another productive stretch for CKay, who has continued building beyond the enormous reach of “love nwantiti”. The album gives his current period a full-length home after the shorter CKay The Second project kept his catalogue moving in 2025.
