Erigga – North & South (Album)
Nigerian rappers Erigga and EESKAY bring contrasting regional perspectives together on North & South, a six-track 2026 collaborative project also credited to Cleanblack Music.
The project draws much of its identity from the meeting between Erigga’s Warri-rooted rap perspective and EESKAY’s Abuja background. Rather than treating those differences as a contest, the record uses them to explore shared experiences around survival, ambition, pressure and everyday Nigerian realities.
Tubase and Jayscilla handle production across the project, while Kachisicho “Jefe” Ayogu-Eze is credited with arrangement. The compact runtime keeps the record focused, allowing the collaborative idea to develop without unnecessary extensions.
North & South ultimately works as a meeting point between two rap identities shaped by different parts of Nigeria. Its concise structure and consistent three-name billing also reinforce the sense of a deliberately assembled collaborative body of work.
