Lovn – SOUNDBENDER (Album)

The project gives Lovn more room to define the musical identity behind his Soundbender moniker, moving through ideas around relationships, personal independence and everyday ambition while bringing Ayanfe, Amaeya, L.A.X and Terry Apala into selected collaborations.

His established grounding in Fuji and Apala remains an important part of the album’s direction, sitting alongside contemporary Afrobeats and Afrofusion influences. The result gives his flexible vocal approach room to move between melodic passages and more rhythm-led performances.

SOUNDBENDER also marks an important step in Lovn’s development since joining Mavin, turning the run of singles that introduced him to a broader audience into a more complete body of work with a clearer sense of his range.
