Northern Nigerian recording artist Boyskido continues a productive 2026 run with “Madakin Mambilla”, following closely after his August single “Fatima & Captain Moha”.
The title draws from Madakin Mambilla, a traditional designation associated with the Mambilla community in Taraba State, giving the release a distinctly Northern Nigerian cultural reference. That context also sits comfortably with Boyskido’s established use of Hausa alongside English and Yoruba in his music.
At just over five minutes, the single is considerably longer than many of his recent releases, allowing the presentation more room than the compact format heard across much of his current catalogue.
