Danny S - Oloun | MP3 Audio Download

Following his recent single “Low Key”, Danny S explores a faith-centred direction with a title rooted in the Yoruba expression for God. The religious significance of “Oloun” introduces a different subject from the street-oriented material that has shaped much of his career.

The release also draws attention to the importance of indigenous language in Nigerian music. Danny S has consistently incorporated Yoruba expressions into his recordings, making the language an established part of his songwriting identity rather than an occasional stylistic choice.

Having gained widespread recognition through “Ege (Dribble)” and maintained a presence in Nigerian street-hop for over a decade, Danny S has an established audience for this latest project. Its two-song format also gives listeners an opportunity to experience another direction in his growing catalogue.

The track is available across major digital streaming platforms alongside “Gbemilo”. Listen to both recordings and share your thoughts in the comments below.
