EF Moon writes with unusual openness about being diagnosed with piles, worrying about his health and recognising habits he needs to change, including stepping away from smoking and alcohol while trying to take better care of himself.
Star Jay, whom EF Moon has described as a brother and close creative partner, produces the record and contributes to a project where he remains the album’s only featured collaborator.
What separates the song from a conventional resilience record is its specificity. EF Moon does not hide behind broad motivational language, instead allowing embarrassment, fear, humour and self-correction to exist within the same story.
