Mayorkun - Home Training | MP3 Audio Download
Celebrating a decade in the Nigerian music industry, singer and songwriter Mayorkun released “Home Training” in October 2026 as the opening single from his forthcoming five-track EP Long Live, The Mayor!.
The song takes a playful approach to romance, describing a woman whose personality makes him willing to abandon his usual good manners. Mayorkun uses the familiar Nigerian expression “home training” to explore attraction, spontaneity and enjoying intimate moments without unnecessary restrictions.
Produced by Fresh VDM, the Afrobeats recording features an upbeat rhythm and a catchy melodic refrain. His mixture of English and Yoruba expressions complements the lively arrangement, while the recurring chorus reinforces the humorous idea behind the title.
Ten years after gaining recognition with his 2016 breakthrough single, Mayorkun continues building on an established Afrobeats career. The accompanying music video, directed by Oluwaferanmi Olonade, also supports the single’s promotion ahead of his upcoming EP, giving listeners another introduction to the project.
