A familiar partnership resurfaces on “Check Clear”, where Nigerian street-pop artist Mr Real reconnects with Sugarbana for his 2026 project Real Movement.
The two artists already have history together, with Mr Real appearing alongside Smangori on Sugarbana’s 2024 record “WINNER”. This time the roles are reversed, with Sugarbana stepping into Mr Real’s project for another meeting between their catalogues.
Production comes from badass, whose credit is exclusive to this collaboration within the project. That separates the record from the Bredah, Boombeatz and Elveezbeatz-produced material surrounding it.
Sugarbana’s involvement also fits the limited-feature approach Mr Real has taken with Real Movement. Instead of filling the project with guests, the collaborations are kept to selected records, allowing each appearance to carry more weight.
