Seyi Vibez – SWAGUU
Nigerian street-pop star Seyi Vibez closes SWAGUU with its title track, “SWAGUU,” bringing American rapper Quavo into the project for its only guest appearance.
The collaboration turns the album’s recurring interest in status and upward movement into an international link-up. Seyi Vibez approaches the record from his Nigerian street-pop perspective, while Quavo brings the Atlanta rap language associated with his work as a member of Migos and as a solo artist.
Mally Mall, KT and Kyle Shelton share production credits, building the record around a trap-leaning framework suited to both performers. That direction gives the closing song a different rhythmic identity from much of the album while allowing each artist to retain his own delivery.
Quavo’s appearance reinforces the global ambitions running through the project without requiring Seyi Vibez to abandon the voice that built his audience at home. As a finale, the collaboration leaves the album looking outward.
