A nickname once used to mock him becomes the title of ZUKO!, the fifth studio album by Nigerian singer Fireboy DML, released on 16 October 2026 through YBNL Nation and EMPIRE.

Fireboy has described the project as a reflection of greater self-awareness and his determination to make meaningful changes in his life. The 13-track album also features Judah Earl, Masicka, Lojay, JAZZWRLD and Thukuthela, introducing different musical influences while maintaining his identity as a singer and songwriter.

The production involves several contributors, including Ramii, Reward Beatz, Yung Willis, Nxrth and Dot Da Genius. Meanwhile, the previously released collaborations introduced contrasting musical directions, from Jamaican dancehall to South African 3-step rhythms, demonstrating his willingness to experiment beyond conventional Afrobeats.

Following his deeply personal 2024 album adedamola, Fireboy approaches this new chapter with a different perspective on identity, growth and artistic expression. Having established an international audience through successful albums and singles, he continues exploring new sounds without abandoning the melodic songwriting that helped build his reputation.

The album is available across major digital streaming platforms. Listen to the full project and share your favourite tracks in the comments below.
