Fireboy DML - C'EST LA VIE | MP3 Audio Download

Commonly used to acknowledge circumstances beyond one’s control, the phrase introduces an interesting perspective to a project concerned with identity and personal change. Fireboy has previously discussed his experiences openly through music, especially during the more personal period represented by his preceding album.

Nxrth handles production, continuing an established creative relationship with the singer. The producer previously contributed to adedamola, including recordings that explored contemporary Afropop and R&B, making his involvement another connection between the two projects.

Fireboy has built much of his reputation on translating familiar human experiences into accessible songwriting. His continued interest in personal expression has helped sustain an audience that follows his albums for more than individual hit singles.
