Grammy-winning Nigerian producer, songwriter and recording artist Kel-P continues the build-up to his debut album More Than Beats with the 2026 Afro-fusion single “Shakomo”.
Kel-P uses the release to keep developing the artist side of a career first recognised widely through his production work, placing his own voice and songwriting at the centre of the record.
Released on 4 August through Da Bully Entertainment, the single arrives with an official visualiser and forms part of the material introducing More Than Beats, which is scheduled for release later in August.
The record is another clear step in Kel-P’s move beyond being known primarily for work behind the boards. Its placement ahead of his first full-length album gives it a defined role in establishing him as a recording artist in his own right.
