Phyno - Magret ft. Oxlade | MP3 Audio Download
“Magret” is a romantic collaboration between Nigerian rapper and singer Phyno and Afrobeats vocalist Oxlade, featured on the 2026 studio album Let That Sink In (LTSI).
The performers express affection for a woman named Margaret, combining admiration with promises of love and financial support. Their lyrics address the desire to remain close to someone special, while references to providing for a romantic partner introduce a playful dimension to the declarations.
The repeated “Magret Margaret” refrain forms a recognisable part of the song’s arrangement, supported by melodic passages and the contrast between both artists’ vocal approaches. English, Igbo and Yoruba expressions appear throughout the recording, reflecting their different musical backgrounds.
Romantic collaborations have contributed to Phyno’s ability to reach audiences beyond indigenous hip-hop, and this recording continues that aspect of his catalogue. Oxlade’s involvement provides an additional melodic presence, while the straightforward love-song direction could encourage interest among listeners who enjoy contemporary Nigerian Afrobeats.
The song is available on major digital streaming platforms. Give it a listen and share your thoughts about the collaboration below.
