Victor AD – The Therapist (Album)
More than two years after his debut album Realness Over Hype, Nigerian singer and songwriter Victor AD returns to the project format with The Therapist, a five-track 2026 EP built around self-examination, survival and personal growth.
The project plays like a series of conversations Victor AD needed to have with himself. He addresses lost time, ambition, betrayal, progress and faith, drawing again from the lived experiences that have remained central to his songwriting since his breakout years.
Babyboy AV, Wizard Chan and Timaya provide the three guest appearances, each entering a different part of the EP’s emotional arc. Their contributions broaden the perspective without taking attention away from Victor AD’s own reflections.
At roughly thirteen minutes, The Therapist is deliberately compact, but its subject matter gives it more weight than its length suggests. It also marks a focused return for an artist whose strongest records have often connected personal struggle with experiences listeners recognise in themselves.
