Jason Derulo – LET ME BE ft. The Second Voice & Qing Madi
Global pop star Jason Derulo joins Zambian breakout act The Second Voice and Nigerian singer Qing Madi on “LET ME BE”, a 2026 reworking of the viral record that pushed The Second Voice into international attention.
The collaboration arrives after Jason Derulo’s work on “Mi Chico” and extends a song that had already travelled widely through streaming, radio and social media. Derulo brings his pop instincts into the record, while Qing Madi adds a softer Afropop presence alongside the voice that introduced the original.
The production retains the relaxed Afro-influenced pulse behind the first version while creating additional room for the new vocal sections. Its repetitive refrain remains central, giving all three performers a familiar foundation without changing the record beyond recognition.
The original had already topped major Shazam and Afrobeats charts before this expanded version arrived. Adding Derulo’s global audience and Qing Madi’s growing African following gives the collaboration another strong route into pop and Afrobeats markets.
